Sit Em #2

James Jones had nothing short of a miraculous comeback in his first game back with the Packers after a short stint in Oakland with the Raiders.

Just a few years ago, Jones was the Packers’ #1 wide receiver above both Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb on the depth chart before he was let go in free agency when the Raiders offered him a very lucrative contract that the Packers were simply not willing to match.

Now Jones has been released by the Raiders, who have decided to go much younger on the offensive side of the ball this year, and the Packers decided to reach out and sign him after the devastating news of Jordy Nelson’s season ending knee injury.

In his first game back, he caught 4 passes for 54 yards and 2 touchdowns, really making his presence felt again in the Packers’ offense.

In Week 2 though, the Packers are playing the Legion of Boom (minus Kam Chancellor) and the Seattle Seahawks.

Jones should be shadowed all game by one of the Seahawks many stellar defensive backs, and I don’t see him having much of a game in Week 2.

Consider him a pretty good flex play for Week 2.
