Sit Em #1

LeGarrette Blount is back with the Patriots for Week 2 after serving a one-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy last season when he was with the Steelers.

Blount is now back and able to participate in Week 2’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

In his absense, Dion Lewis, a free agent signing right before the season began by the New England Patriots, shouldered most of the load in the running game in Week 1 for the Pats.

I mention Lewis because unfortunately, in Week 2, I believe that Lewis will be the main back on the field for the majority of the game.

The Buffalo Bills defense is one of the best in the NFL this year, and their running defense is especially vicious. If you combine that with the fact that the Pats are starting 3 rookie linemen at the center and both guard spots, and I don’t see the Blount finding much room to run.

Consider him a flex option at best for Week 2, but I would look somewhere else this week for my flex play.
