5) The Chiefs are not a second half team

We all remember that second half meltdown against the Colts in 2013, right? It was starting to look like that on Sunday, as the Chiefs allowed the Texans to pull within a touchdown late in the game.

The offense scored a whopping ZERO points in the second half, something they’ll need to fix if they want to win games this year. I’m not sure if the defense was just getting tired, or the Texans were able to figure out the offensive strategy. Either way, zero second-half points won’t cut it the rest of the year.

Obviously this sample size is small, but this is one of the biggest keys to focus on against the Broncos. There is no room for error, and the Chiefs will need to have a high level of energy for all four quarters.
