Kansas State Football: Report Card VS Texas San Antonio

The offensive line did a great job on Saturday protecting Hubener and giving him plenty of time in his first start. There were several instances where no one would be open, and Hubener had enough time to either wait for a man to get open, or take the ball and run it himself.
I was also impressed with the full backs for KSU. Glenn Gronkowski and Winston Dimel both did an excellent job at blocking for Hubener and the running backs and it was great to see.
Hubener was only sacked twice, and the Wildcats were able to put up 418 yards in their second game of the season. The offensive line and fullbacks also allowed for the offense to hold onto the ball for a whopping 35:05 minutes to UTSA’s 24:55.
If this continues throughout the year, Hubener will only improve under center for K-State.
