Kansas State Football: Report Card VS Texas San Antonio

The first half of the game was rather frustrating for K-State’s offense. Hubener looked lost early on, and he couldn’t throw the ball to save his life. He had several balls that didn’t even make it to the receiver or that he completely overshot.

It was worrisome at first especially when the Roadrunners went up 3-0 after one series on offense. In fact, the Wildcats weren’t able to put any points up until the second quarter when Hubener did a quarterback sneak into the end zone.
Maybe a large part of why KSU struggled early on was due to it being Hubener’s first start. Maybe it was because the Texas San Antonio crowd was so loud and so fired up that it was hard for anyone to hear.
Who knows? All I know is that it wasn’t fun watching this offense in the first half.
Fortunately, they were able to pick it up in the second half though.
