Sit ‘Em #3

RB. Houston Texans. Alfred Blue. 1. player. 10. Week 1 Projection: Standard: 7/PPR: 8

To some, Alfred Blue was one of the biggest sleepers heading into fantasy drafts due to teammate Arian Foster getting injured again. The initial diagnosis for Foster didn’t look good, but now it sounds like he won’t miss more than 3 to 4 games.

Blue is a talented back, but I believe that the Chiefs just have too much talent in their front seven for him to get much going in Week 1.

That being said, Blue will be the starter until Foster gets back, so that immediately makes him relative for fantasy players.

Unfortunately for fantasy owners this week, Blue and the Texans matchup with the tough Kansas City Chiefs defense who add back Eric Berry, Mike DeVito, and Derrick Johnson to an already up-and-coming defensive unit.

I like Blue as a RB #2 in most fantasy leagues if Foster is out based on his matchup, and this week he happens to have a pretty bad one in my opinion.

I would consider Blue a decent flex play at best for Week 1.
