1) The Chiefs will win a playoff game
I was three years old the last time the Kansas City Chiefs won a playoff game. I am now 24 years old and have seen a lot of heartbreaking losses in the playoffs.
My last bold prediction of the year for the KC Chiefs is that that playoff win drought will end in 2015 (technically 2016, but you get my drift).
Looking at this roster, the Chiefs are stacked on both sides of the ball. If the offensive line can hold up even just a little bit better than they did last year, then the Chiefs will be solid at almost every position.
It won’t be an easy task taking the AFC West away from Denver, but I think this is the year the Chiefs do it. I think this is the year that the Chiefs finally get that monkey off their back and win a playoff game. They haven’t done so since the 1993 season when freaking Joe Montana was the quarterback in Kansas City.
Montana was originally a 49er, so maybe it bodes well that Alex Smith also was a 49er before coming to Kansas City.
