KC Royals: Ten Players Who Could Be Called Up in September

Jorge Bonifacio could certainly be a possibility for the Royals because he’s an extra body in the outfield and is currently on the 40-man roster. Bonifacio has spent all of 2015 in Northwest Arkansas and is currently batting .246 with 17 home runs and 63 RBI.
Bonifacio hasn’t been great at the plate this season, but one of the main purposes of September call-ups is to give the minor league players a chance (or the future of the team for some organizations) to get to the majors and play with the big boys.
Bonifacio very well could be the future of the Kansas City Royals outfield, and this is a prime opportunity to bring him up and let him show what he can do.
It’ll also be nice to have more depth in the outfield. With Alex Gordon returning and Alex Rios looking less than stellar in the outfield, it’ll be nice to have as many options as possible to plug into the outfield.
Next: Depth is good
