Tight End. Green Bay Packers. Richard Rodgers. 4. player. 49.

Richard Rodgers is entering his second year in the league, and has the potential to be one of the best tight ends in the league. Rodgers’ potential is capable of being so high due to the fact that he has one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball to him. That right there is reason enough to draft Richard Rodgers.

Rodgers only had 20 receptions for 225 yards and two scores in 2014, but only started five games. He should have an opportunity to start at tight end for the Packers this season, and with Jordy Nelson now out for the season, Rodgers’ targets should increase. Plus, this will be his second year in the Packers’ system and he should be more comfortable with not only that, but with his quarterback as well.

Richard Rodgers is so high on my list of fantasy football deep sleepers because he has Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback. He might not be a well known name, but you likely won’t regret drafting him.

Rodgers could start as your backup tight end, but should eventually be able to be a number one option as the season progresses.
