New Orleans had a bit of a crazy off season that saw both Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills being traded away, and the offense looking sadder by the second. With those guys hitting the road, that leaves Nick Toon as a reliable wide receiver in the Saints’ system.

Toon has only recorded one touchdown in his three-year career, but with Graham and Stills gone, his opportunities for more targets will grow. Plus, Drew Brees is still the quarterback in New Orleans, and that means Toon should see some targets and hopefully some catches in the end zone.

Toon has recently suffered an ankle injury and is slated to miss two to three weeks, but that shouldn’t prevent you from drafting him later on. In fact, even with this injury, Toon should be set to play by week two and could be a fill in guy should you have a bye week or an injury.

Saints receivers usually get the football because Brees loves to hit as many different receivers as possible. That makes Toon the ultimate deep sleeper. You won’t expect much of him, but he could very well surprise you down the stretch.
