FANTASY FOOTBALL ROOKIES FOR 2015: NUMBER SIX – DEVANTE PARKER
Devante Parker, like Dorsett, is listed as a second-string receiver, but there could be potential room to move up if he performs well. Miami’s starters right now are Greg Jennings and Kenny Stills, and if Parker has a big preseason could move into that starting slot.
Parker was just taken off the PUP list yesterday, and while he hasn’t seen any action during training camp, he was very impressive during OTA’s earlier this spring. Parker was recovering from surgery he had in June to replace a screw in his right foot, which he initially injured in his senior year at Louisville.
In his four years at Louisville, Parker caught 156 passes for 2,775 yards and 33 touchdowns. In his shortened senior season—he played in just six games—Parker caught 43 passes for 855 yards and five touchdowns.
With Ryan Tannehill as the starting quarterback in Miami, expect Parker to see quite a few targets during his rookie campaign.
He would be a good mid-round pick.
