FANTASY FOOTBALL ROOKIES FOR 2015: NUMBER EIGHT – DORIAL GREEN-BECKHAM

While Dorial Green-Beckham hasn’t played a football game since 2013 and is listed as a third-string receiver for the Tennessee Titans, I think he should be able to move up the ranks quickly this year.

Tennessee doesn’t exactly have the most elite wide receivers—Harry Douglas and Kendall Wright are their starters—which leaves plenty of opportunities for DGB to overtake other receivers during the preseason.

The former Missouri Tiger wide receiver has been making big strides in training camp and caught one pass for 32 yards against the Falcons in their preseason home opener. He has a lot of talent and if he can contain his off-field problems, could become a potential playmaker for the Titans this year.

The part I’d be weary of is having a rookie quarterback as the starter. That will most definitely affect whether DGB gets a lot of targets and receptions or not. If Marcus Mariota struggles, then DGB could be a disappointment in fantasy value. If Mariota plays decent, though, watch out. This could be a huge steal in the draft.

Dorial Green-Beckham should still be available in the late rounds, so if you need a backup receiver or accidentally drafted two with the same bye week, he would be a good pick.
