6. Tyshawn Taylor
Tyshawn Taylor was the 77th ranked player by rivals.com coming into the 2008 season. He was drafted by the Portland Trailblazers in the 2012 draft in the second round but ended up being traded to Brooklyn.
Taylor played two seasons with the Nets averaging 11 minutes in his second season. They traded him to New Orleans, but the Pelicans waived him before the season. He went internationally to play in Russia and is currently playing in Puerto Rico.
Taylor played four years for the Kansas Jayhawks. Weirdly, his freshman and senior seasons were his best. His freshman year he started off his Jayhawks career in fashion.
Taylor’s senior season was where he really showed his potential.
His junior year he was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules but bounced back big time for his senior season.
In Taylor’s freshman year he earned the Big 12 all rookie team honors making him highly known after his senior season coming into the draft. In 2012 he also earned first team all Big 12 honors as well as a third team all-american honor. He and Robinson made quite the team making them one of the better duos in college basketball then.
