FANTASY FOOTBALL SLEEPERS IN 2015 NUMBER 13: KNILE DAVIS
Knile Davis is a running back with a very high upside for the KC Chiefs. Unfortunately for him, he is the backup to one of the top-3 backs in the league in Jamaal Charles.
Davis also returns kicks for the Chiefs and was used on at least 2-3 possessions a game last season to give Charles a well-deserved rest.
But this isn’t why I have Davis as a sleeper this year.
I believe that Davis will have a bigger workload as Jamaal continues to get older and gets more injuries. Davis has been a magnificent backup RB for the Chiefs and any fantasy owner who started him last season when Charles was hurt and missed a few games.
I could see Charles struggling with his health again this year, and I also see Davis being much more involved in the offense in his third season.
Consider him a solid later round pick and one of the best handcuffs to own if you own starter, Jamaal Charles.
I could eventually see Davis turning into a solid flex play as the Kansas City Chiefs love to give the ball to their running backs in a multitude of ways. This could be Knile’s season to break out.
