FANTASY FOOTBALL SLEEPERS IN 2015 NUMBER 1
Zach Ertz may be one of the best up-and-coming tight ends in the league. He has pretty much stolen the starting job from teammate Brent Celek and hasn’t turned back.
Last year he really started to flourish and got targeted a bunch once Mark Sanchez took over for the injured Nick Foles. Ertz has great size and speed for a tight end and I think that his ceiling is pretty high in the NFL.
This offseason the Eagles went out and acquired Sam Bradford from the St. Louis Rams to be their new starting quarterback. Bradford has all the talent in the world, but has had a lot of trouble staying on the field with all of his injuries.
Whether Bradford or Sanchez is at the helm for Chip Kelly and the Eagles this year, I believe that Ertz’ role will increase in the fastest passed offense in the league, and I see him getting into the endzone plenty.
I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to start Ertz in most leagues, and I think he will develop into one heck of a tight end in the coming seasons.
