FANTASY FOOTBALL SLEEPERS IN 2015 NUMBER 3: SAM BRADFORD
As I mentioned in Jordan Matthews’ slide earlier, Sam Bradford has been very injury prone since being the number one overall pick back in the 2010 NFL Draft. This will be his first season not with the St. Louis Rams.
In Philly, Bradford pairs up with head coach Chip Kelly who is trying to revolutionize the NFL with his up-tempo style offense. Kelly obviously wasn’t pleased with last year’s starter Nick Foles, who was involved in the trade to acquire Bradford.
Sam, if he can stay on the field, should be a pretty good fantasy quarterback. He will get plenty of opportunities as the Eagles run many more plays than any other team in the NFL.
If he can get on the same page with Kelly and the Eagles offense, I think that he could have a really solid first injury-free season.
Definitely don’t take the chance drafting him as your starter, but he is a solid backup fantasy quarterback and should be drafted as such.
