FANTASY FOOTBALL SLEEPERS IN 2015 NUMBER 5: EDDIE ROYAL

Eddie Royal has been pretty good everywhere he has been. First he was with the Denver Broncos and made his presence felt on special teams more than anything. Then he signed with the Chargers and started to turn into quite the receiver.

Royal is a smaller receiver with very good speed and is a very lethal deep threat. With Jay Cutler as his new quarterback in Chicago, he will have plenty of chances to capitalize on the deep ball, as Cutler is notorious for having one of, if not the best arms in the NFL.

He was brought into Chicago to be the #3 and main slot receiver, but now with the possible season ending injury to Kevin White, Royal will likely have to step into the #2 wide receiver role, which gives him a big chance to be a dangerous fantasy option on a team that has had good fantasy receivers ever since Cutler has been in town.

I believe that Royal will be very productive this season, and will get 80+ catches if he plays all 16 games.

With his ability to catch the deep ball on any play, I think Royal should be viewed as a decent flex option heading into drafts. He should go in the middle-to-later rounds.
