Normally for fantasy football purposes I am not a big Eli Manning fan. For the most part, he has a similar playing style to that of Alex Smith in my #15 slot and has the “game manager” tag slapped on him, which hurts his fantasy production/value.

I would consider him a low-end starting fantasy QB with the potential to really blossom into a great value pick in this year’s drafts.

But now I see something new when I look at Eli for 2015-2016 fantasy football. And that is the combination of Victor Cruz and Odell Beckham Jr. in New York.

Cruz injured his knee and missed the second half of last season and the monster OBJ was born and basically took over the NFL after his amazing one-handed grab in the endzone later in the season.

Now with the combo of the two on the outsides for Eli, I think he will be able to put up really solid numbers that could translate into a fantasy starters numbers.

I would consider him a low-end starting fantasy QB with the potential to really blossom into a great value pick in this year’s drafts.
