C.J. Anderson now sounds like he is going to be the man in the backfield again this season for the powerhouse offense that the Denver Broncos have with Peyton Manning at the helm.

Also in the backfield for the Broncos is college standout Montee Ball from Wisconsin, who the Broncos originally planned to eventually take over the reigns as their bell cow running back.

This is what worries me about Anderson.

Any starting running back for the Denver Broncos while Peyton Manning is there is definitely worth drafting high in most fantasy drafts.

He has great talent with a good combination of speed and power, but the presence of Ball on the depth chart my limit his touches and could lead to him having a short leash if he starts struggling or missing pass protections as many young running backs do.

Considering what he did last year though, Anderson could be ranked much higher than I have him, but I am just worried about the amount of field he will be seeing as the season goes on.

Consider him a solid late-round third round pick in most leagues with the potential to be a good second running back if he gets the opportunity to stay on the field like he did last year.
