Justin Forsett FINALLY burst onto the scene last year after bouncing around the NFL with four different teams as a special teamer and a backup running back for the most part.

He fell into the perfect circumstances for a guy needing a chance that started with the controversy that took the world by storm that was Ray Rice and his domestic violence issues.

Next, Bernard Pierce, who was another running back ahead of Forsett on the depth chart, was struggling and eventually got hurt and Forsett finally got his chance to take over the starting job.

He has struggled to be the workhorse in the past when he’s had to, but luckily for fantasy owners, that hasn’t been very often in his career so far, so he has plenty of miles left in him.

Once he became the starter, he started to show off his speed and versatility right away and Baltimore coaches loved what they saw out of a guy they didn’t expect much from coming into last season.

He ended the year as one of the better-running backs in fantasy football and has a lot of upside coming into this NFL season.

Forsett was locked up for the next three years by the Ravens, so that means that coach Harbaugh and the front office plan to keep Forsett as the starter for the near and foreseeable future.

He has struggled to be the workhorse in the past when he’s had to, that hasn’t been very often in his career so far, so he has plenty of miles left in him.

Consider him a good second running back option in all leagues.
