Ron Jaworski has released his full NFL quarterback rankings, as part of his annual “Jaws’ QB Countdown”.

I always thoroughly enjoy whenever Jaws releases his annual quarterback countdown because I am a complete nerd when it comes to quarterbacks. I remember quarterbacks for several years, even the ones who don’t do much of anything. It’s always been a fascinating thing to me and I love seeing what Jaws has to say each and every year about the upcoming season’s crop of starting quarterbacks.

Last year I wrote up a post on my thoughts on Jaws’ then rankings and I am going to do the same thing this year because quarterbacks are fun. They sometimes can make or break a team and it seems to be a trend now where if you don’t have an elite or at least a “decent” quarterback, then your team will go nowhere come the regular season.

My two favorite NFL teams are the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints. Both of these teams have two very different quarterbacks. The Chiefs have Alex Smith, who the fans aren’t crazy about. I personally really like Smith and feel like now that he has the tools to succeed, he will. The Saints have Drew Brees, who is easily going to be a future Hall of Famer. Brees has won a Super Bowl and is adored by Saints fans.

Where will these two guys end up on the countdown? We’ll have to start at number 32 and find out.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the bottom five players on Jaws’ countdown.
