Fantasy Football Defenses Number 12: Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins’ defense has a new best player, and that’s with all due respect to defensive end Cameron Wake.
When the Dolphins signed defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, they added perhaps the baddest defender in the NFL to an already talented defense.
The ‘Phins needed help against the run, and that’s exactly what they got. Last season, they allowed 121.1 yards per game on the ground while allowing just 222.3 yards through the air.
If they can repeat that pass defense, the Dolphins might have a case to be heard in the AFC East court.
Cornerback Brent Grimes is a legitimate number one corner and safeties Reshad Jones and Louis Delmas have emerged as a versatile safety tandem.
The only thing that doesn’t jump out is the linebacking corps: Jelani Jenkins, Koa Misi, and Chris McCain.
If the linebackers can provide some production, the Dolphins have the recipe to shut some teams down, and score some fantasy points in the process.
