(1) 1969 KC Chiefs vs. (5) 1976 KC Royals
It’s another Chiefs/Royals match-up, this time with the football version of Kansas City as the favorite.
While the team three years earlier made it to the Super Bowl, this version won it.
The ’76 KC Royals had a nice little season, but they may have met their match going up against a Super Bowl champ.
That was the first time the Royals made the playoffs and should be a special season for Royals’ fans even today.
However, is it special enough?
