By now you’ve seen these teams twice, and their resumes speak for themselves.
Danny Manning and Co. continue to easily navigate the tournament, although this time they are doing it as a one seed instead of a six seed.
The ’78 KC Royals were used to winning, as they captured their third-straight AL West Division title, but fell at the hands of the New York Yankees for the third straight season.
The team pulled of a minor upset in the second round, but to beat the champion Jayhawks here, they will need a major one.
