The KC Chiefs will travel to face the Minnesota Vikings in week six for their fourth away game and third NFC North opponent. The Vikings have been an on and off team over the years, but 2015 looks to be somewhat optimistic for them.
With that said, this should still be a game that the Chiefs win. They have a more experienced offense and their defense is one of the best in the NFL while the Vikings are still a team on the rebuilding side of things.
They’re entering year two of the Teddy Bridgewater experiment, but things should be a little easier for the former Louisville quarterback in 2015. Minnesota will have their star running back Adrian Peterson back on the team after being suspended last year, which already makes them a scary team. The Vikings also have Mike Wallace, whom they signed during the off season.
The last time these two teams met was at Arrowhead in 2011 and the Chiefs won by a score of 22-17. Minnesota had Donovan McNabb as their quarterback that season in what turned out to be a short relationship for the two.
With this game being in Minnesota, it may be a little more difficult for Kansas City to win, but they’re the better team for sure.
Prediction: This will be a much closer game than people expect, but the defense will hold off Bridgewater and Peterson. Chiefs will win it by a score of 17-14.
