Sunday, October 11th, 2015 VS Chicago Bears (12:00 CST)

The Kansas City Chiefs will go nearly an entire month without hosting a game, but they’ll get the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in week five. The Bears have been a disappointing team over the past few years, but this season could be a more favorable one for them, as John Fox is now the head coach in Chicago.

The last time these two teams met was back in the 2011 season and both teams had their backup quarterbacks under center. This was the game in which Tyler Palko did the one good thing in his career by hurling a Hail Mary for a touchdown at the end of the first half. The Chiefs won 10-3 in a sad game that we will now never speak of again.

CHECK OUT: TEN WORST CHIEFS STARTERS IN PAST TEN YEARS

This time around, the Chiefs should be able to pull away with a victory once again. They’re better on both sides of the ball, especially on defense. The Bears’ offense has had its moments over the years, but Brandon Marshall is now with the Jets, and admit it (even you Smith haters)… Jay Cutler is not a better quarterback than Alex Smith.

With the way Chicago’s defense has looked the past few seasons, Alex Smith should be able to take advantage and put up some points. While the Bears’ offense isn’t dreadful by any means, KC’s defense is damn good and should be able to pick Cutler off multiple times and make his day miserable at Arrowhead Stadium.

Prediction: With the offense and defense favoring Kansas City, this is a game that the Chiefs should be able to win. Kansas City wins 28-13.
