Sunday, January 3rd, 2015 VS Oakland Raiders (12:00 CST)

For the first time since 2010, the Chiefs will play host to the Oakland Raiders for the season finale. That particular season saw the Chiefs losing, but hey… They ended up winning the division anyway, so who cares?

This will also be the only time in 2015 that the Chiefs plays at Arrowhead Stadium two weeks in a row. Thanks London!

  • This season, the Chiefs could have a lot on the line in the final game of the season. They very well could be trying to clinch the AFC West still, or even just a playoff spot. If they have the record that I predict them having at this moment (11-4), then they should definitely have a for sure spot in the postseason.

The KC Chiefs get the Oakland Raiders in the season finale in 2015, and should be able to win this game. Something to keep in mind though is if the Chiefs have clinched anything where they can’t move up (Example: They’re the second seed in the playoffs, but can’t dethrone the first seed no matter what) then they could decide to let their starters rest in this game. That would be the only way I could see the Raiders winning this one though.

I said at the beginning though, that I would write these as if nothing changed though, so we’ll predict this game assuming the starting roster is as it usually is.

With that said, this should be an easy win. Next stop: Playoffs.

Prediction: Assuming the starters play in this game, the Chiefs should easily come away with a win against a less than stellar Oakland Raiders team. Chiefs win 28-10. Let’s head to the playoffs with a win!
