After a week overseas and a week nine bye, the Chiefs will have a long time to prepare for their second go at the Denver Broncos.
Now I was heartbroken that I had to pencil in that week two match-up against Denver as a loss, but this time around the Chiefs will have Sean Smith back, and their identity as a team should be figured out by this point in the season.
In other words, game on.
Last season the Chiefs almost beat the Broncos at Sports Authority Field and I think this year they complete the upset to finally knock the Broncos off their high horse (even though their mascot is a horse).

This will be a hard fought game, but the Kansas City Chiefs will do something they haven’t done since 2011: Beat the Denver Broncos.
This game will hopefully serve as the change of an era in the AFC West where the KC Chiefs will show that they’re the the top dogs of the division.
Prediction: Obviously Peyton Manning will have a decent game, but the Chiefs’ defense will slow him down in the second half and give the Chiefs an opportunity to take the lead and down the Broncos for the first time since 2011. Chiefs win 17-14.
