A 16 seed has never beaten a one seed in the college basketball NCAA Tournament, and if we’re being honest, it doesn’t look like that will happen here either.
As any KC Chiefs’ fan knows, the 1969 season featured the franchises’s one and only Super Bowl victory — a 23-7 win over Minnesota in Super Bowl IV played January 11, 1970. It was the second championship appearance for the Chiefs in four seasons.
There’s not a lot of info on the 1909 Mizzou football season, however it was a good one.
The Missouri football squad finished with their first undefeated season at 7-0-1, and their first Missouri Valley Conference title.
Stat-keeping from the season, let’s just say, wasn’t as advanced as today.
