The KC Chiefs have a lot to look forward to heading into 2015, but it’s still tough for Chiefs fans to get excited about the season. No matter where you go, there’s always a Debbie Downer when it comes to the Chiefs and what their expectations are for them.

Hey, you can’t blame those people too much. Kansas City natives haven’t always had an array of good teams to cheer for. In fact, the past few years have been the most exciting time sports wise since I’ve lived in Kansas City (born and raised here, so we’re talking 24 years).

Right now though, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, and Sporting Kansas City are all playing well, but things weren’t always fun concerning the sports team around here. The Chiefs are notorious for never winning in the postseason (take the 2013 season’s debacle in the Wildcard game) and it’s gotten to a point where some fans feel like they’ll always be destined to be on the outside looking in.

I thought it’d make for an interesting post to write as if I was one of the Negative Nancy’s and go through the five arguments those people have against our Chiefs this upcoming season.

*AGAIN – I am NOT writing this as my view points, but the biggest complaints I’ve seen from fans whether it be on Twitter, on sports talk radio, or even my own friends.*
