Hey I warned you there’d be a lot of bad offensive players on this list, and here’s our second terrible receiver in only three players! Mark Bradley rightfully deserves a spot on this list. He was downright awful.

Drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round (39th overall) in 2005, Bradley underperformed during his not even four years in Chicago. The Bears released Bradley less than a month into the 2008 season, clearly putting the bust label on him early on into his career. The Chiefs, for whatever reason, thought that maybe Bradley just needed a change of scenery and signed him to a new contract.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs, that was not the case for Mark Bradley. Throughout his two seasons with the team, Bradley had 700 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 14 starts and 23 games total. He was released from Kansas City near the end of the 2009 season and would not play in another NFL game despite later signing contracts with the Bucs and the Saints.

I will say that Bradley played for the Chiefs during a pitiful season in which they only won two games (tied for the worst in franchise history), but that still doesn’t change the fact that Bradley was not fit for an NFL career and that landed him on this list.

An interesting thing about Bradley was that he had two career passes during his NFL career and completed both of them. One even went for a touchdown on a trick play that saw Bradley throwing the ball to Tyler Thigpen in the end zone. Perhaps Bradley should have been an NFL quarterback rather than a wide receiver… maybe things would have worked out better for him in Kansas City (that’s doubtful).
