Shooting Guard: Wayne Selden
Wayne Selden had a little bit of a sophomore slump last season, only putting up 9.4 points a game. He pulled down just 2.8 rebounds a game. He looks like a strong player physically, but that has not translated to the stat sheet yet in his two-year stint with the Jayhawks.
Even though he had a tough season last year, Selden is due for a breakthrough season.
Even though he had a tough season last year, Selden is due for a breakthrough season. His size and stature at 6-5, 230 pounds gives him that edge to play both shooting guard and small forward.
He shows hustle on the court, and shows flashes of being a strong defender, so there is time for Wayne Selden Jr to yet become a top notch Jayhawks. His experience should help him be a team leader this upcoming season.
