The latest update regarding the 2015 All-Star Game voting results were released on Monday (thanks MLB.com for the link) and the KC Royals seem to be on track to be well-represented. I’d argue, perhaps, too well represented.

The aforementioned have certainly done their part to earn it, and the fans are letting their voices be heard through their voting ballots.

If voting ended today, Alex Gordon, Lorenzo Cain, Mike Moustakas, Alcides Escobar, and Salvador Perez would be your respective starters. Pretty impressive. That’s something truly to be proud of.

Hey, even Kendrys Morales and Eric Hosmer are second in votes at designated hitter and first base respectively. In fact, Hosmer and Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers are only separated by about 75,000 votes, which isn’t insurmountable.
