KC Chiefs: Four Rookie Quarterbacks Trying Out For Team

Michael Strauss transferred from the University of Virginia after redshirting there andplayed for the Richmond Spiders for three seasons. He was the full time starter for two of those seasons and also started in four games his first year with the Spiders.

While there’s not a ton of information available on Strauss, Richmond’s website lists him as 6’3″ and mentions that he holds the school record in completions, attempts, yards, and touchdowns. He also holds the single game record for all of those areas as well.

Strauss came from a smaller school in Richmond, and it’s unlikely that we’ll see him as anything other than a practice squad member.
