The Kansas City Chiefs were anything but predictable in the 2015 NFL Draft. Taking Mitch Morse in the second round was just one of the reasons.

After taking a flyer on a high-talent, high-risk corner back in the first round of the NFL Draft last week, the KC Chiefs surprised fans again in the second round. General Manager John Dorsey went out on a limb and took 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive lineman Mitch Morse out of the University of Missouri.

No one is doubting that Morse can play in the NFL. However, he was graded by most as a third-round pick, so the selection was scrutinized by many. Bleacher Report’s NFL Draft Expert Matt Miller questioned the pick.

Miller said on Bleacherreport.com he figured Morse would end up in the third round, and gave the pick a “C.” He feels like he might play center for the KC Chiefs after losing Rodney Hudson. While Morris doesn’t love the pick, he did say he hoped that Dorsey sees something that he missed.
