What you didn’t know: Ok, so you probably know this because Chiefs’ fans were talking about this on Twitter just minutes after Conley was drafted, but it’s too great not to recognize — the former Georgia Bulldog produced, directed, and even acted in, a 26-minute “Star Wars” film. The satire film named “Retribution,” included head coach Mark Richt and former Georgia teammate Todd Gurley.
In an interview with SB Nation last summer, Conley talked about his love of film.
"“It’s a good thing for people to hear that and see that. To realize that we’re not just athletes, that we as football players aren’t just good at football, that we can do other things as well. Pursue other dreams, but along with football. I don’t think people realize we can do that.”"
Most likely this isn’t going to affect his play on the field one way or another, but if his football career doesn’t pan out, it at least will help him promote his film-making skills.
Below is the full-length movie. Viewing prior to next season should be a prerequisite for all Chiefs’ fans.
