I’m a Huskers fan, remember? With that said, I’m all for Kenny Bell becoming a Kansas City Chief on Saturday, just as long as he brings that flashiness and edge he had while with the Nebraska Cornhuskers for four years.

  • Kenny Bell made some of the worst Nebraska games fun to watch. He made some incredible, out of this world grabs during his days there and I can just picture him doing the same in a Chiefs uniform now. Sure, I mainly want this pick to happen so I don’t have to root against Bell in the pros, but also, he’s a great receiver who will surely be worth the Chiefs’ attention in the fourth or fifth round.

Bell didn’t have the best quarterbacks during his Husker days, and while some might not agree with me that Smith is a good quarterback, it’d certainly be an upgrade. Smith would love having a big target like Kenny Bell on the field each and every Sunday.

Give it a year or two, and Kenny Bell could be a starter for this team. Maybe even as soon as this year.

"Lanky, vertical wide receiver with a second gear. He likes to lull cornerbacks to sleep before hitting the gas and getting over the top of them for big plays. Bell is a little more straight-lined than some teams are looking for, but with reliable hands and an ability to make plays on the ball down the field, he has starter’s traits as a potential No. 2 WR in the league. – NFL.com"
