Junior Hemingway

Is Junior Hemingway even still on the team?I haven’t heard much talk around Hemingway lately and it’s safe to say he will not be the Chiefs’ starter in 2015.

For a seventh round selection back in 2012, Hemingway hasn’t been a “disappointment” by any means. Not many seventh rounders stay in the league long so props to Junior, but he won’t be the main guy next year.

So far, Hemingway has played in 31 games and started just three. He’s had 25 receptions for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Both of those touchdowns came in 2013.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Hemingway remained on the roster for this season, but the chances of him being the starter are slim. He’s a “fill in” guy more than anything else and I wouldn’t expect that to change.
