Round 1, Pick 18

63. 87 Receptions, 1,278 Yards, and 17 Touchdowns in 25 games. Wide Receiver. Missouri. Dorial Green-Beckham. 18. player

Dorial Green-Beckham is one of the most controversial picks the KC Chiefs can make especially with the way he burned the Missouri Tigers, but his talent is undeniable.

Green-Beckham has had several run ins with the law mostly related to marijuana. His Freshman year at Missouri he was suspended one game after he was arrested for possession of marijuana.

The worst incident that Green-Beckham was involved in was not related to marijuana however.

"Green-Beckham was the subject of an investigation by Columbia, Mo., police this week after an 18-year-old Missouri student said the receiver forced open her apartment door at 2:30 a.m. Sunday while trying to see his girlfriend, a friend of the alleged victim. -Edward Aschoff of ESPN"

Following the incident Green-Beckham was dismissed from the University of Missouri and joined the Oklahoma Sooners, but had to sit out for the entire 2014 season. Many think Green-Beckham should have stayed in college for the 2015 season so he could prove himself, but he decided to declare for the 2015 NFL Draft instead.

The KC Chiefs have had recent success drafting a player that has struggled with marijuana. Justin Houston failed a drug test at the NFL Combine and fell from a late first round projection to the Chiefs in the third round. Now he is one of if not the best pass rusher in the NFL.

The KC Chiefs have a solid core of players that are capable of leading the team, and being a mentor for a young troubled player. The Chiefs are one of the best landing spots for Green-Beckham, and the Chiefs drafting him would be mutually beneficial for all parties involved.
