2015 NFL Mock Draft: KC Chiefs Have Ten Picks

There were several different options for me to take as the KC Chiefs’ general manager in the third round, and I ultimately went with adding another wide receiver. Not only is Tyler Lockett a prime receiver that could do wonders for Kansas City’s offense, but he’s a local guy.
Lockett played his college football about two hours from Kansas City at Kansas State University, and has been quoted in the past saying he’d love to play for the Chiefs. Lockett’s father Kevin played for the Chiefs and was actually a second round pick by the team in 1997.

Adding DeVante Parker in the first round and Tyler Lockett in the third round would be terrific for an offense that didn’t have a single wide receiver touchdown in 2014. These two along with new Chief Jeremy Maclin would be sure to make sure that record didn’t stand another year.
