Best Uniforms: North Carolina Tar Heels (4th seed in West)

Another unconventional bracket method, picking teams based off their uniform is another favorite of mine. This year, North Carolina takes the cake.  It’s impossible to hate that sleek Carolina Blue. They are a classic uniform, and they don’t undergo big changes every. single. year.

North Carolina is also a quality basketball team. The Tar Heels reached the ACC Tournament Finals, although they lost to Notre Dame. They have quality wins against teams like Louisville, Virginia and Ohio State. And most importantly, they got hot right before the NCAA tournament and will look to carry some of that momentum into this weekend.

Look for Marcus Paige to lead this team in the tournament. The junior guard leads the team with about 14 points per game while dishing out 4.6 assists per game.

North Carolina will have to avoid an upset bid from Harvard if they want to make a big run. Sounds easy, but Harvard has been a tough out the past two years. Harvard has won their first game the last two years, and North Carolina looks to end that streak. Nonetheless, look for North Carolina to make the Sweet 16, at least.
