2015 NFL Mock Draft: KC Chiefs Focus On Offense Early

The Chiefs need help on the offensive line. Josue Matias played left guard at Florida State. The Chiefs’ two left guards in 2014 were Mike McGlynn and Jeff Linkenbach, so yes, this is an upgrade. It’s difficult to know what to expect with a fourth round draft pick, but Matias fits the mold of an NFL guard and I’d love to see what he could do for Kansas City.
"“As a unit, the ‘Noles line has been bleak, but when you isolate #70 at guard, he stands out. Love his feet in pass pro. He listens to coaching. I feel confident saying his best football is ahead of him.” – AFC North executive – Courtesy of Dane Burgler of CBS Sports"
Any addition to the offensive line is a good thing at this point and that’s why I’d be excited about Josue Matias becoming a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. He’d hopefully be able to replace Linkenbach (we all know McGlynn is replaceable) and could provide insurance at the left guard position for years to come.
That’s the plan anyway.
