Kansas City Chiefs: Free Agent Wide Receivers To Look At

With the NFL off season in full swing, the Kansas City Chiefs need to be looking at what they’re going to do as far as upgrading in certain positions. One of the biggest positions in need of an upgrade is at the wide receiver position, in which the Chiefs struggled with in 2014. They were the only team that didn’t complete a touchdown pass to a wide receiver last season.
With all of that said, the Chiefs don’t have a lot of money to spend in free agency this off season due to large contracts given to current players. Kansas City also has to dish out money to franchise tag Justin Houston and hopefully re sign Rodney Hudson.
So who should the Kansas City Chiefs be taking a look at? I’ve compiled a list of five receivers who are currently free agents and could potentially become members of the Chiefs’ offense.
Now, I’m not saying that these guys are going to sign with the Chiefs (in fact, some of them are very unlikely to due to the financial issues Kansas City has this off season), but they’re free agents nonetheless. Anything can happen, right?
Let’s check out the first potential free agent options for the KC Chiefs.
