While many KC Chiefs fans seem to think that the team needs to focus mostly on upgrading the offense in the 2015 NFL Draft, Farzin Vousoughian of Bleacher Report saw them focusing equally on both sides of the ball in his most recent mock draft.

Vousoughian does, however, think the Chiefs will target an offensive player in the first round. Let’s take a look at who Vousoughian had in his most recent mock draft!

I’ve been pretty against the Kansas City Chiefs picking Dorial Green-Beckham for awhile now and I’m still anxious about him. My main concern, which many analysts share, is that Green-Beckham had a lot of off the field issues during his time with the Missouri Tigers. In fact, DGB had so many off the field issues that he was eventually dismissed from the team.

He transferred to Oklahoma to be a Sooner, but didn’t play a single snap in 2014. Despite not playing last season, DGB decided to forego his senior season with the Sooners and enter this year’s draft.

Green-Beckham had one of the best times for both the 20-yard shuttle and 60-yard shuttle.[

"As for what he has to offer on the gridiron, Green-Beckham can help lift the team at wide receiver after a hapless 2014 season. With Dwayne Bowe’s status currently uncertain, Green-Beckham can help improve the Chiefs receiving corps, adding more strength to the passing game and becoming a threat in the end zone. The Chiefs threw zero touchdown passes to their wide receivers last year. Clearly, they have to consider a wide receiver with the first pick. – Farzin Vousoughian of Bleacher Report on what DGB could bring to Kansas City"

We all know the Chiefs had difficulties with their wide receivers last season. In fact, the KC Chiefs recently parted ways with both Donnie Avery and A.J. Jenkins so the need for a real number one (and two and three and four) threat is pretty big at the moment.

Kansas City going after Dorial Green-Beckham would scare me because obviously he had some issues during his college days, and also… The Chiefs have had bad luck with first round receivers since the 2000s hit. I’m still scarred from the whole Jonathan Baldwin fiasco.

Let’s just hope that if the Kansas City Chiefs decide to take a chance on this kid, that he delivers because going another season without a wide receiver touchdown pass would be very sad.
