Round 4, Pick 19
It is no secret that the KC Chiefs need a lot of help on the offensive line, so it would be a bit disappointing that they waited until the fourth round to draft an offensive lineman.
The good news is Josue Matias is a very capable guard, and could come in and compete for a starting job right away.
"Matias sets up quickly off the snap with smooth reflexes and the fast reactions to mirror rushers in pass protection. He is quick to shoot his hands and engage with defenders, staying balanced and shifting his weight well in his movements. Matias has a naturally wide base with a flexible lower body and the frame to engulf defenders, using his length well. He keeps his head on a swivel with good eye use to pick up multiple rushers and there simply isn’t much that appears to surprise him -Dane Brugler of CBS Sports"
I would feel comfortable with the Chiefs giving Matias a chance to prove himself as a starting caliber player.
