Now I’m trying not to let my Nebraska biases creep in too much here, but Kenny Bell was a lot of fun to watch during his days as a Husker. He wouldn’t be a starter by any means (at least not right away), but he’d provide insurance for a team that needs help in the receiver position.

  • "Lanky, vertical wide receiver with a second gear. He likes to lull cornerbacks to sleep before hitting the gas and getting over the top of them for big plays. Bell is a little more straight-lined than some teams are looking for, but with reliable hands and an ability to make plays on the ball down the field, he has starter’s traits as a potential No. 2 WR in the league."

Bell was always reliable to make a big play on third down when the Huskers needed him. At 6’1″, he was Tommy Armstrong Jr.’s go to guy in critical situations and became a fan favorite at Nebraska. More than likely, he could bring that same excitement to Arrowhead Stadium. He also had a great work ethic during his time with the team and could bring that to Kansas City.

CBS Sports projects Kenny Bell as a sixth round draft choice, which is totally feasible for the KC Chiefs. He’d fit in well with Andy Reid and company.
