Round 6, Pick 16

There are multiple Kevin Whites in this year’s draft, but this particular Kevin White is a cornerback from TCU. Kansas City’s secondary wasn’t as bad as many anticipated it being, but the need for a cornerback is definitely there.

White is actually projected as a third or fourth rounder, but fell to the sixth round in this particular simulation. If he is available in the sixth round, he’d be a great late round selection for Kansas City.

Round 7, Pick 19

With the Chiefs’ final selection, I figured it was a good call to grab yet another wide receiver. DaVaris Daniels was the best receiver on the board when the Chiefs were on the clock for their seventh round selection and while he wouldn’t necessarily be a superstar, he’d be worth taking a chance on.

Daniels was one of five Notre Dame players suspended in the 2014 season due to academic dishonesty. He sat out 2014 as a result and could return to Notre Dame for 2015 or enter the draft and hope to go pro. Daniels’ father played in the NFL as a defensive end (Phillip Daniels) so he has family history in the National Football League.

If he decides to enter the draft, he could be drafted in one of the middle rounds, but he slid in this simulation to round seven and I scooped him right up.
