Week 12: 24-20 Loss at Oakland Raiders (Thursday Night Football

After winning arguably the biggest game of the season, the Chiefs traveled to Oakland for a Thursday night game and failed miserably in a monsoon. The team couldn’t get anything done and dropped a game to the winless Oakland Raiders, who were not a good team in 2014.

Week 13: 29-16 Loss VS Denver Broncos (Sunday Night Football)

Why do the Chiefs always have their Sunday night games against Denver? This one went as bad as 2013’s did with a loss against one of the Chiefs’ biggest rivals. The noise didn’t seem to have an affect on Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense whatsoever, as they scored on their first two possessions and made it seem like this game was over early.

The rest of the game, however, Denver had to settle for field goals, but Kansas City’s offense couldn’t get anything done. A bad offensive line mixed in with the poor overall play of the offense couldn’t get the job done at Arrowhead and fans once again had to watch as the Broncos completed a sweep against the Chiefs. One of these days we’ll get those pesky Broncos.

I imagine that the Chiefs will get at least one Sunday Night Football game in 2015 and I really hope that it’s not against Denver. Kansas City plays against other teams you know.
