Final Thoughts

The Kansas City Chiefs were able to break their three game losing streak with a win against a division rival and move to 8-6 on the year. The Chiefs have to win their last two games in order to make it into the postseason and while it’ll be a difficult task, it’s also very doable for this Chiefs team.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, like the Chiefs, have been a very up and down team in 2014. Maybe, just maybe, the Chiefs can catch them on a down week and bring home a victory. It’ll be tough though since the Steelers have Le’Veon Bell, arguably one of the best running backs in the league. We all know just how terrible Kansas City’s run defense usually is (this week being the exception).

To close out the season, Kansas City will host the San Diego Chargers in what could be flexed into the Sunday night spot depending on how playoff situations look after this weekend. The Chargers have lost two straight games, but were on a hot streak before that. The Chiefs were able to beat the Chargers in San Diego back in week 7 (on a game winning field goal from Mr. Cairo Santos himself) so the team knows they can beat the Chargers.

Regardless of what happens, it’s been a fun season and I’m excited to see how it all unfolds in these next two weeks!
