Kansas City Chiefs: What to Improve On For Week 16

Stop Getting Penalized
This one seems like a no brainer, but the Kansas City Chiefs just didn’t seem to get that memo on Sunday. The team had 11 penalties for 84 yards. It literally seemed like every other play was a penalty against the Chiefs (although it’s worth noting that Oakland had 10 penalties for 75 yards).
On the first drive, the Chiefs had back to back offensive pass interference calls (one on Albert Wilson and the other on Anthony Fasano).
Not much else to say on this, it’s a pretty cut and dry thing. Penalties = bad. Well at least against your own team they are.
Oakland did the Chiefs a lot of favors by getting penalized almost just as much (they basically handed Kansas City that Knile Davis touchdown run, when they were penalized twice).
The Chiefs were known as one of the least penalized teams early on in the season, but lately have been getting flags thrown at them right and left. Travis Kelce gets more false start penalties than anyone I feel like.
